ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola | News | ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola

Bangkok, November 19, 2024 – Executives from ‘ThaiNamthip’, Mr. John Jason Riley (1st from left), Vice President – HoReCa, ThaiNamthip Corporation Ltd., from Trash Lucky, Mr. Nattapak Atichartakarn (3rd from left), Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Trash Lucky Ltd., together with their strategic partner GO WHOLESALE, represented by Mr. Ricardo Boarotto (2nd from left), CEO Thailand, Central Food Wholesales Ltd. has joined the “Coke Recycle Me with Trash Lucky” campaign by expanding the number of recycling drop-off points at ‘GO WHOLESALE’ centers, starting at the Srinakarin and Ramkhamhaeng branches that encourage recycling behavior among the consumers.

ThaiNamthip, majority-owned by Swire Coca-Cola Limited, the fifth-largest bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company globally, is the bottling partner of the Coca-Cola Company in 63 provinces across Thailand and is committed to driving packaging circularity in Thailand. Under Swire Coca-Cola’s sustainability strategy, under the ‘Our Choice, Our Future!’ sustainability strategy, promoting packaging circularity is a key focus under the “Planet” pillar. The “Coke Recycle Me with Trash Lucky” campaign, now in its fourth consecutive year, serves as a platform to engage consumers and the general public to segregate waste and recycle through convenient touch points. Recently, ThaiNamthip has collaborated with GO WHOLESALE to target business operators, hotels, restaurants, catering businesses (HoReCa), and small retailers. In partnership with Trash Lucky, the number of recycling drop-off points is being expanded by adding two pilot locations at GO WHOLESALE branches at Srinakarin and Ramkhamhaeng. This makes it more convenient for consumers to deposit recyclable materials such as plastic, glass, paper, and metal while visiting Go Wholesale, including its customer base of HoReCa operators.

ThaiNamthip invites the public to help care for our planet by bringing recyclable materials to nearly 80 recycling drop-off points in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Phuket, and Songkhla. Participants may also accumulate points and have the chance to win prizes from now until December 31, 2024. For more information regarding this campaign, the drop-off points, and redemption details, please visit https://trashlucky.com/recycleme.

The “Coke Recycle Me with Trash Lucky” campaign, now in its fourth consecutive year, combines with strategic partners including Big C Supercenter Public Company Limited., CP Axtra Pcl. - the operator of Lotus’s, The Mall Group Co., Ltd., and The Shell Company of Thailand. The expansion of drop-off locations in Southern Thailand from Phuket to Songkhla is driven by HaadThip plc., Coca-Cola’s bottling partner, and Central Food Wholesales Limited the operator of GO WHOLESALE which has recently joined. Other partners include Indorama Ventures which recycles plastic packaging, Thai Beverage Can which supports the recycling of aluminum cans, and of course ‘Coca-Cola’, the main sponsor of this campaign.
