ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola and Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development Join Forces to Enhance Vocational Skills for Vulnerable Women and Families at SDX 2026
ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola and the Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development (DWF), under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, have strengthened collaboration to promote and develop vocational skills for vulnerable women and families. The partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop a beverage mixology curriculum featuring Coca-Cola products for training and knowledge development, as well as to provide relevant resources to support sustainable improvements in quality of life.
The collaboration was highlighted by a mixology demonstration by the Chonburi Women and Family Development Learning Center, featuring a special “Pink Lady” menu that combines the sweet and fragrant flavor of pineapple with Minute Maid Pulpy Mandarin Orange and the refreshing fizz of Schweppes Manao Soda. The activity added a vibrant touch to Social Development Expo 2026 (SDX 2026), the country’s largest social development exhibition.

Ms. Puntarika Susuntitapong, Vice President - Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability, ThaiNamthip Corporation Public Company Limited, the bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company in Thailand, said, “The signing of this MOU with the Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development marks another important milestone in public-private collaboration to create opportunities and make a tangible difference in the quality of life of vulnerable women and families. As a leader in Thailand’s beverage industry, ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola has been bringing refreshment to people in Thailand for more than 67 years. We are proud to leverage our business capabilities and expertise to create positive social impact by jointly developing a practical mixology curriculum that can be applied to real career opportunities. The curriculum covers menu creation, cost management, and fundamental knowledge for running a business.
In addition, we are providing Coca-Cola beverage products as ingredients for creating drink recipes to support teaching and training at the Learning Centers for Women and Family Development and the Protection and Occupational Development Centers nationwide. We will also facilitate collaboration with ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola’s business partners and networks to extend learning into career opportunities, including job creation, income generation, internships, and employment. Through this collaboration, we aim to deliver tangible outcomes and create sustainable benefits for the communities we serve.”

Ms. Jatuporn Rojanaparnich, Director-General of the Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development (DWF), said, “The Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development and ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola have been working together to promote vocational skills development for vulnerable women and families. The signing of this MOU marks an important step in strengthening and expanding this collaboration to achieve even more tangible outcomes. Bringing together the strengths of the public and private sectors is key to driving meaningful change. ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola is a nationally recognized organization in the beverage industry and has supported a wide range of Coca-Cola beverage products for training activities. The two organizations have also jointly planned ways to build on this collaboration and deliver positive impact to society.
Our shared goal is to promote and develop vocational skills for women and families, enabling them to generate income and achieve a better quality of life sustainably. We are confident that ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola’s capabilities, experience, and expertise, combined with the readiness of the Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development, will create meaningful change and deliver maximum benefits to vulnerable women and families who are unemployed, have low incomes, or are facing social challenges in a tangible way.”

The MOU on promoting and developing vocational skills for women and families is a collaboration between the Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development, ThaiNamthip Corporation Public Company Limited, and the ThaiNamthip Foundation. As part of the initiative, mixology recipes and drink concepts were developed through a workshop conducted in collaboration with the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, and incorporated into a mixology curriculum for teaching and training. The curriculum will be provided to vocational trainers from 12 Learning Centers for Women and Family Development and Protection and Occupational Development Centers nationwide, equipping them with the proper knowledge and understanding of mixology techniques and various drink recipes, which they can then pass on to vulnerable women and families as the target beneficiaries.
