ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola Rangsit Plant Wins Two Prestigious Thailand Energy Awards 2025, Reinforcing Leadership in Sustainable Beverage Manufacturing

ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola’s Rangsit plant has been selected by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy, to receive two prestigious honors at the Thailand Energy Awards 2025: Conservation Energy Award (Designated Factory) and Energy Personnel Award (Energy Management Team for Designated Factory). The awards underscore ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility as a leading beverage company in Thailand. The awards were received by Mr. Peesaard Meesomboon, Engineering & Strategic Projects Director, ThaiNamthip Corporation PLC, and presented by Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, Minister of Energy.

ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola integrates sustainability across its entire value chain under the corporate strategy “Our Choice, Our Future!”, aiming to minimize environmental impact. At the Rangsit plant, advanced technologies have been implemented to enhance production processes and improve energy efficiency. These initiatives include optimizing machinery operations, reducing steam energy consumption, and deploying innovative real-time systems to analyze machine performance and energy usage, enabling more precise and effective problem-solving. The company also places strong emphasis on workforce capability development. ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola has partnered with Burapha University to develop a beverage manufacturing engineering curriculum to upskill employees. Additionally, special employee engagement programs have been organized to encourage staff at all levels to contribute ideas for improving production efficiency.
Through continuous efforts, the Rangsit plant has delivered tangible outcomes between 2020 and 2024, saving a total of 70 million megajoules of energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 8,105 tons of CO₂ equivalent.
ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola remains committed to advancing sustainable business practices that drive long-term growth while creating positive impacts on society and the environment. The company operates five production plants in Thailand—Rangsit, Pathumthani, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, and Lampang—producing beverages under The Coca-Cola brand. The Rangsit plant will serve as a model facility for efficient and sustainable energy management, with best practices to be expanded across all plants nationwide.
