‘Namthip’ Crowned Thailand's Top Drinking Water Brand in YouGov’s Most Improved Brands 2025

Namthip, the bottled water brand proudly produced by the Coca-Cola system in Thailand—comprising ThaiNamthip Corporation PLC, HaadThip PLC and Coca-Cola (Thailand) Ltd.—has been named Thailand’s Most Improved Brand 2025 in the drinking water category, according to YouGov’s Most Recommended Brands 2025.
YouGov, a global leader in online data research and analytics with survey networks spanning multiple countries, including Thailand, conducted a survey of more than 1,200 Thai consumers between June 2024 and May 2025. Namthip earned its top position through a significant year-on-year increase in the likelihood of current customers recommending the brand to others. This achievement reflects the brand’s growing consumer trust and the positive momentum of word-of-mouth advocacy nationwide.

First launched in 1978 in returnable glass bottles, Namthip has consistently evolved to meet the needs of Thai consumers. In 2001, the brand transitioned to PET bottles, and in 2012 it pioneered a major eco-friendly innovation in the bottled water segment with the launch of the “Eco-Crush” bottle. This twistable, lightweight design reduced virgin plastic usage by 35% compared to its previous packaging—resulting in bottles weighing only 10.7 grams—while also helping increase storage and transportation efficiency for recycling, all while upholding Coca-Cola’s highest quality and durability standards.
Today, Namthip’s packaging follows the “Infinity Ring” concept, where two iconic water drops intertwine to form the infinity symbol. The dark green cap and logo reflect freshness, the benefits of hydration, and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Prominently displayed on each bottle, the “Please Recycle” message invites consumers to join in responsible waste sorting and recycling—supporting the company’s mission for sustainable packaging.
Namthip’s excellence is backed by certification from the National Science Foundation (NSF), a globally recognized organization for public health standards, which attests to the water’s cleanliness and purity, ensuring it meets world-class safety and quality benchmarks. It also holds Halal certification. These recognitions further reaffirm the brand’s commitment to world-class quality and environmental responsibility.
